Founder & Lead Author
For years, I watched brilliant friends and colleagues get paralyzed by financial decisions. They were experts in their own fields, but when it came to the economy, it felt like a language they were never taught. I founded Value Literacy Idea to change that.
My background in Accounting specialized in Taxation at State College of Accountancy (STAN), Economics at Asian Banking Finance & Informatics PERBANAS, and started to dig more about decision making in business and management while getting my MBA at Technology Institute of Bandung (ITB) gave me the theoretical foundation, but it was my demonstrated history of work as an experienced practicitioner; whether in government (Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance) and private sector that showed me the huge gap between academic theory and real-world decision-making. Both of education background and experience gave me a broad view which should go hand in hand, and that I believe this privilege could be beneficial for many, which could be my give back to the community.
I believe that the most powerful economic concepts are often the simplest. My work focuses on breaking down complex topics into clear, actionable frameworks—no dense jargon, just practical insights you can use to build your confidence and your wealth.
When I'm not writing or demystifying compound interest, you can find me dancing, listening to some interesting podcast, getting to know Borneo especially West kalimantan, or trying to find a cup of coffee.
Now, let me get back making Value Literacy Idea to publish impactful works to build people and community's value literacy.
